Our Path to Victory

Family Farm Values, Hillsdale College Conservative, Experience to Lead

Aric Nesbitt grew up on a sixth-generation family farm, earned “Alumni of the Year” from Hillsdale College for his work as a conservative reformer, and served in Governor Snyder’s cabinet. He currently fights for us as Senate Republican Leader, both challenging the Democrats failing policies and offering solutions to revitalize Michigan. Aric and his wife Trisha have two young children with a third one on the way, so they care deeply about creating a better future right here in Michigan.

Aric Nesbitt’s Plan to Fix Michigan

  • Support Taxpayers over Tax Takers: Stop Lansing bureaucrats from destroying jobs, provide tax relief to families and all businesses instead of politically-driven handouts to a select few corporations, pay down debt, encourage blue collar careers, and invest tax dollars to rebuild roads and bridges rather than on wasteful pork projects.
  • Teach Children to Read and Involve Parents: Reading scholarships so parents are empowered to help their children, extra reading assistance in schools for children who have fallen behind, more money into classrooms instead of bureaucracies, reward quality teachers, transparency in school results, and protect girls’ sports from left-wing political correctness.
  • Keep Families and Communities Safe: More resources and training for law enforcement, ban sanctuary cities that protect criminal illegal immigrants, oppose cashless bail, and no driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants.

Strongest Republican Candidate to Defeat the Democrat Nominee and Govern

  • Relatable Background: Grew up on a six-generation family farm, public school graduate, worked his way through college, and has a young family that cares about Michigan.
  • Knowledgeable Communicator: Serving as Senate Republican Leader, Aric understands policy and makes numerous media appearances. He is prepared to take our Republican vision to the people and make a compelling case.
  • Political Skills: Served as a President Trump and Mike Rogers surrogate along with leading up state legislative campaign committees. Aric Nesbitt is familiar with all parts of Michigan.
  • A Proven Fundraiser: Raised $5.4 million for Senate Republicans in the last two years. Switched the amount raised from being 70% PAC based in the Majority to 70% individual base while in the minority. Nesbitt has consistently been one of the top fundraisers in the state.

Path to Victory in Primary

  • Michigan Gubernatorial primaries in both parties have demonstrated the candidate with the most appealing background and message to share defeats candidates who merely start with high name ID. Governor Snyder began his primary far behind, Whitmer started with minimal name ID, and Blanchard handily led Granholm at the outset.
  • Aric Nesbitt has a great story to share with voters: Growing up on a sixth-generation family farm, Hillsdale College Alumni of the Year for being a conservative reformer, taking on far left Democrat agenda that is failing the people of Michigan, and working effectively to advance solutions to strengthen our economy, improve education, keep families safe, and create a better future.
  • By raising millions of dollars to share message that will help in the primary and general, and building on his relationships throughout the state, Aric is building a strong campaign that will result in a Big Win for the people of Michigan in January 2027 and beyond.

Time to Elect a Republican Governor

  • Michigan voters are consistently demanding change. Since 1968, Michigan voters have made a change in party every time they elected a new Governor.
  • Republican strength is building with President Trump winning Michigan, State House Republicans regaining the majority, and Congressman Mike Rogers nearly winning the U.S. Senate race despite being massively outspent.

Decision Time for Republican Donors is Now

  • Winning Scenario: Unite behind a proven conservative leader with the experience and communication skills that provide Republicans a solid opportunity for victory against the Democrat. Sitting on the sidelines opens the door for the losing scenario we have painfully experienced before.
  • Losing Scenario that is Possible: Michigan Republicans could nominate a self-funder who does not connect with average voters, a weak general election candidate, or a fringe person could win a crowded race with only 20%. In either scenario, a Democrat Governor is sworn in on January 1, 2027 to continue the liberal, anti-business, anti-family policies that are hurting Michigan.
